  3. Mepilex Border er en selvklæbende, absorberende bandage, som kan anvendes som en del af en profylaktisk behandling til at forebygge tryksår og minimere risikoen for maceration. Ved sårbehandling opretholder den et fugtigt sårhelingsmiljø. Det vandtætte yderlag beskytter mod snavs og bakterier. Bandagen har et Safetac® sårkontaktlag, som er en unik klæbeteknologi. Det minimerer smerte hos patienterne og traume mod såret og huden ved bandageskift. Mepilex Border består af: • et sårkontaktlag bestående af blød, selvklæbende silikone (Safetac) og et bærende lag af film • en fleksibel absorberende pude i tre lag: et skumlag, et nonwoven spredningslag og et lag med superabsorberende fibre. • en filmbagside, der er åndbar og vandtæt, og som udgør en barriere mod udefra kommende urenheder Bandagematerialets indhold: Silikone, polyuretan, polyakrylat, bomuld, viskose, polyester og polyolefin.
