BARRIER® laparoscopy drapes are carefully designed to ensure safety and efficiency when you’re faced with the stringent demands of laparoscopic surgery. The range includes designs for both supine and lithotomy patient positions. To help prevent microbial transfer, our drapes are impermeable and most of the drapes features the BARRIER Flex stretchable adhesive edges maintain a secure seal when the abdomen is inflated. The range includes a modular draping concept designed for laparoscopic interventions including robotic assisted surgeries (RAS). The solution consists of a separate transparent anaesthesia drape supporting with patient observation and communication of the clinical team and laparoscopic split sheets allowing for an adjustable abdominal aperture, suitable for different interventions with varying trocar entry points. These products are ISCC certified which contribute to responsible sourcing of bio-based materials. Our all-in-one drapes are designed to support operating room efficiency, with up to three times faster than draping with a universal drape solution. Most designs have integrated hook and loop tube holders to help create an organised working area, and deep pouches specifically designed for laparoscopic instruments.
