  3. Mepilex Border är ett självhäftande, absorberande förband avsett att ingå i förebyggande behandling av trycksår och att minimera risken för maceration. För sårbehandling håller det sårmiljön fuktig. Den vattentäta baksidesfilmen skyddar mot smuts och bakterier. Förbandet har ett sårkontaktlager med Safetac®, som är en unik vidhäftningsteknologi. Det minskar patientens smärta samt skador på sår och hud vid avlägsnande av förbandet. Mepilex Border består av: • ett sårkontaktlager bestående av mjuk självhäftande silikon (Safetac) och en film • en flexibel absorberande dyna i tre lager: ett skumlager, ett nonwoven spridningslager och ett lager med superabsorberande fibrer. • en ytterfilm som andas men är vattentät, vilket ger en barriär mot externa kontaminanter Materialinnehåll i förbandet: Silikon, polyuretan, polyakrylat, bomull, viskos, polyester och polyolefin.
