  2. Granudacyn® Wound gel is a ready-to-use, clear gel for cleaning and moistening acute and chronic wounds as well as for keeping wounds moist. Cleaning of wounds prevents wound infection. In wounds that are already infected, adjuvant wound irrigation can help to significantly reduce the microbial load. This results from the mechanical effect of the irrigation, which together with moistening promotes wound healing. Granudacyn® Wound gel may be used for the thorough wound cleaning of: • Acute or chronic wounds as well as surface wounds • Cuts, abrasions and 1st and 2nd degree burns • Critically colonised or infected wounds
