  3. Mepilex Border est un pansement absorbant auto-adhésif destiné à être utilisé dans le cadre d’un traitement prophylactique pour prévenir les escarres et minimiser le risque de macération. Pour le traitement des plaies, il maintient un environnement humide. La couche extérieure imperméable protège des impuretés et des bactéries. Le pansement est doté d’une interface Safetac®, une technologie adhésive unique. Elle réduit au minimum la douleur des patients et les traumatismes au niveau des plaies et de la peau lors du retrait du pansement. Mepilex Border est composé de : • une couche en contact avec la plaie composée d’un adhésif en silicone souple (Safetac) et d’un film protecteur • une compresse absorbante flexible en trois couches : une couche de mousse, une couche de diffusion non tissée et une couche de fibres super absorbantes. • un film externe respirant, mais imperméable, assurant une barrière contre les contaminants externes Composition du pansement : silicone, polyuréthane, polyacrylate, coton, viscose, polyester et polyoléfine.
