Mepilex Transfer

Mepilex Transfer is a highly conformable dressing that transfers exudate and, in combination with appropriate secondary dressing, maintains a moist wound environment and minimises the risk for maceration. The dressing has a Safetac® wound contact layer that is a unique adhesive technology. It minimises pain to patients and trauma to wounds and the surrounding skin at dressing removal. Mepilex Transfer consists of a soft silicone wound contact layer (Safetac) and a thin, flexible absorbent pad of polyurethane foam. Mepilex Transfer is intended for a wide range of exuding wounds. Mepilex Transfer can also be used as protection of compromised and/or fragile skin.
