How to stay safe and avoid burns

Make sure your grill is in a safe location.

  1. The grill should be placed well away from the home, deck railings and out from under eaves and overhanging branches.
  2. Only grill outside.
  3. Keep children and pets away. Keep children and pets at least one meter away from the grill area.
  4. Keep your grill clean. Keep your grill clean by removing grease or fat buildup from the grills and in trays below the grill.
  5. Let it cool completely.

When you are finished grilling, let the coals cool completely before disposing of them in a metal container.
